proposal

I took my girlfriend out to a romantic dinner last night to propose but it didn't go quite as planned. When we ordered our deserts, the waiter walked away. I got down on one knee and she started crying. "Tori will- " Then the doors busted open and two army guys walked in. One looked at me and pointed. They walked over and grabbed me, "What's going on?!" Tori yelled as she started crying more. "It's fine don't worry. I'll beback soon." She was on the floor crying with people surrounding her and comforting her. The two soldier guys took me to a car and we drove for a few hours. Three hours later, we arrived at a small block building and they still wouldn't tell me what was going on. They took me to a dark room and there was only two chairs and a man. "What are you here for?" The man asked me after the door shut. "I don't know that's what I'm trying to figure out. He smirked, "A few months ago, Halloween night." I shrugged my shoulders, "So?" He sighed, "You and one other guy committed a murder crime to one of our soldiers." My eyes got wide,"What?!" "We brought in the other guy and he claimed it was you. So we had to bring you in." I rolled my eyes, "First of all, I have never murdered anyone, I have no reason to. Second, Who's the other supposed guy?" I said. They brought him in and it was my brother, "Mark! What are you doing here?!" He looked down, "they caught me. Halloween I committed a murder crime and I didn't want to give out my friend so I blamed you because you were the first one that came to mind." I was now pissed, "I was proposing to my girlfriend, Mark, PROPOSING! And they all of a sudden took me away." I sighed, "How do you think she feels right now, huh?" He started getting teary eyed, "I'm sorry. I- I didn't know." I slapped him, he was now crying, "you go in there right now and tell them what happened and who actually committed the crime with you. I'm not playing." He walked into the room with the guy in there, "Um..." The guy looked at him, "Yes?" Mark looked down, "Troy wasn't the one that committed the murder. It was Jason Hides." The man sitting in the chair stood up, "What the hell is wrong with you?! You know this could be taken in as a death penalty." I walked forward, into the room, "get out." Then I backed out of the room again. "Do you have anything to say for yourself, sir?" Mark looked down, "Let my brother go. You can do anything to me and my friend but it wasn't my brothers fault." The guy called for someone to come get me and I got back into the car and drove another three and a half hours back to my House. I knocked on the door because Tori liked to keep it locked in case anything happened, Tori opened the door, "Troy!!!" She jumped into my arms, "What happened? Where did they take you? Why did they take you?" I walked into the house and explained everything to her even the whole thing with my brother accusing me. Her jaw dropped, "I can't believe he would do that to you." "I can." She frowned, the a smile came on her face, "So, what about that question?" I smiled, and got down on one knee, "Tori Williams, will you marry me?"
